Topeka Man Booked on Exposing Sex Organ/Lewd Conduct Charge

TOPEKA, Kan. — A 23-year-old Topeka man was booked into custody Saturday morning on allegations involving lewd and lascivious conduct after authorities accused him of exposing himself to another person over the age of 16.

According to Shawnee County booking records, Jacob Donavon Hood was booked on May 17, 2026, at 8:15 a.m. on a charge listed as “Lewd and lascivious; Exposing sex organs to another = >16.”

The charge carried a listed bond of $100 cash.

Booking records also show an additional hold for positive identification.

Hood was released from custody later the same day at approximately 10:30 p.m. Court records indicate a scheduled court appearance on June 16, 2026, at 3:00 p.m.

As with all criminal cases, the charge is an allegation, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
