Born and raised in Topeka, Kansas, Patrick Minjares is a passionate, high-energy coach dedicated to empowering youth both on and off the soccer field. With over six years of recreational coaching experience — and now entering his first year at the premier level — Patrick brings a holistic approach to player development that emphasizes nutrition, recovery, and mental resilience.
Patrick holds a Coerver Youth Diploma and a USSF D License, with plans to earn his USSF C License soon. When he’s not on the pitch, Patrick serves as a paraprofessional at Shawnee Heights Middle School, where he motivates students to grow as individuals and strive for excellence in every aspect of life.
Patrick sums up his approach to coaching with his personal philosophy:
“Everyone isn’t a coach, every player isn’t a coach, every coach wasn’t a player — it’s a skill.”
His long-term goal is to turn his passion for coaching and mentorship into a full-time career, inspiring others to unlock their full potential. Patrick lives by the belief:
“The most important thing is to try and inspire people so that they can be great in whatever they want to do.”
