With over 100 vendors, fresh Kansas produce, and the unofficial start of spring, there’s no better place to be this weekend than 6th and Harrison.

Spring has arrived in Topeka, and with it, one of the city’s most beloved community traditions. The Downtown Topeka Farmers Market officially kicked off its 2026 season on April 4 — and after a long winter, locals didn’t let a little chill in the air stop them from showing up.
Held every Saturday morning at the corner of SW 6th and Harrison, the market brings together more than 100 vendors from across the region — farmers, bakers, ranchers, crafters, and makers of all kinds — united by a love of local and a desire to connect directly with the community they serve.
“From fresh vegetables and grass-fed meats to handmade body care and homemade sourdough — if someone in Topeka made it, there’s a good chance you’ll find it here.”
Dozens of vendors who bring something genuinely unique to the market each week — a reminder that Topeka’s creative and agricultural community runs deep.
The market runs through the end of October, giving neighbors, families, and visitors more than six months to discover what’s growing, baking, and being made right here in northeast Kansas. Whether you’re a longtime regular or stepping under those tents for the first time, there’s always something worth finding.
So set your alarm, bring a tote bag, and head down to 6th and Harrison this Saturday. Topeka’s community is out there — and it’s worth showing up for.
