Mack Callahan: Reduced to Event Copy
Well, it turns out the entire mental health community of Topeka didn’t appreciate my last couple of satire pieces. Management told me I could either stop offending people or stop working here. So now I’m writing ad copy for local events — living the dream.
Anyway, tonight’s event is Bike Night at Liquor Lattes & Lace, and the headliner actually makes this one worth noting. Tyler Swain, one of the region’s rising new country artists, will be taking the stage. He’s been steadily building a following with his strong vocals and authentic sound, the kind of performer you catch now so you can say, “I saw him before he blew up.”
So, if you want motorcycles, coffee, lace, and some genuinely good country music, here’s your chance:
Details:
Liquor Lattes & Lace, 4150 SW Topeka Blvd, Topeka, KS
Tonight | 7:30pm
Live music: Tyler Swain
Public · Free · Anyone on or off Facebook
If you go, enjoy the show. If you don’t, well, I’ll still be stuck here writing about it — so you win either way.
