Kick off your Friday night with Hairball: The Bombastic Celebration of Arena Rock at the Stormont Vail Events Center. This high-energy tribute band will electrify the stage with spot-on recreations of legendary acts like KISS, AC/DC, and Van Halen. Local favorite Departure Band Topeka opens the show at 7:00 PM.

On Saturday, wine enthusiasts can indulge at the 7th annual Roar & Pour Wine Fest at the Topeka Zoo. From 6:00 to 9:00 PM, enjoy fine wines, gourmet food, live music, and unique art collaborations between local artists and zoo animals. VIP guests gain early access at 5:00 PM, including exclusive giraffe feedings and wine tastings.

Nature lovers can revel in the final days of the Jerold Binkley Tulip Time Festival, showcasing over 100,000 tulips across Ted Ensley Gardens, Old Prairie Town, and Gage Park. Don’t miss Tulips at Twilight, featuring illuminated gardens and live entertainment from 7:00 to 10:00 PM through Sunday.

For theater aficionados, Washburn University’s Neese Gray Theatre presents “The Importance of Being Earnest” on Friday and Saturday at 7:30 PM. Additionally, the Washburn Wind Ensemble performs at White Concert Hall on Friday at 7:30 PM.
