Travis Lee Edwards, 47, of Kechi, KS, passed away on Sunday, May 4, 2025.

He was born on May 24, 1977, in Clay County, MO, to Wilbur H. and Grace E. (Metcalfe) Edwards.

Travis was a 1997 graduate from Lebo High School and worked as a lineman since 2012 most currently with IBEW 304, Capital Electric

Travis enjoyed spending time outdoors, at the lake & with his family & friends, but his greatest joy was his children.

He married Shana Carter on May 12, 2018.

Travis is survived by his wife Shana (Carter) Edwards, children, Garret (Malaina) Latimer, Taylor (Alex) Talley, Ashton Edwards, Brooklyn Prichard, Dane Edwards, Austin Prichard & Stella Edwards. One brother, Dan (Kim) Edwards, two sisters, Michelle Ambrose and Vicki (Randy) Jesseph also survive.

He was preceded in death by his father, Wilbur, and a sister, Julie Ambrose.

A come & go gathering with family & friends will begin at 4:30 PM, Friday, May 16, 2025, at Lloyd Stearman Field Bar and Grill, 14789 SW 30th St, in Benton KS.
