Sherry Lyn Daniels, a cherished sister, mother and grandmother, passed away in the gentleness of twilight on March 30, 2025, at the age of 76, in Topeka, Kansas after her battle with cancer. Born on February 4, 1949, in Fort Scott, Kansas, she embarked upon life’s journey.
Sherry was the beloved daughter of Douglas and Marilyn Culp. She grew up alongside her siblings, and while predeceased by her sister, Shanna Griffiths, her surviving sister Sarah McCully was a cornerstone of stability and love. Her greatest joy came from watching her grandkids grow into amazing people, a source of pride and happiness that lit up her life. Sherry was known for long conversations with family and friends.
A memorial gathering to honor Sherry’s life will be held on June 7, 2025, at Shelter #7 in Gunn Park, Fort Scott, Kansas (66701). Friends and family are invited to come together in remembrance and celebration of her life well lived.
