Sandra Lynn Hubble

March 12, 1993 - March 23, 2025

Sandra Lynn Hubble, a beacon of love and generosity, departed from this world too soon on March 23, 2025, at the age of 32. Born on March 12, 1993, in Topeka, KS, Sandra’s radiant spirit and infectious enthusiasm for life were evident from the very beginning. She passed away surrounded by love in Lawrence, KS, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and a community enriched by her selflessness.

Sandra’s early life in Topeka, where she was born to parents Michael W. Hubble and Antonette (Tetuan) Hubble, was filled with the joy and laughter of a close-knit family. Her formative years were shared with her adoring sister, Amy A.M. Rickenbacker, and her brother-in-law, Norman Bieber, as well as her cherished sister, Mikayla N. Tetuan-Hubble. Sandra was the beloved aunt to her niece, AJ Rickenbacker, and she held a special place in the hearts of her grandparents, Mary (Gomez) Benaka and Bob Benaka. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, John Tetuan and Richard and Sheila Hubble, all of whom had a profound impact on her life.

Sandra’s academic journey was marked by her graduation from Seaman High School, where she demonstrated her passion for community and teamwork as a cheerleader during her sophomore and junior years. Her vibrant energy and supportive nature made her a memorable presence on and off the field.

Following high school, Sandra entered the workforce with a dedication to service that never wavered. She was a familiar and friendly face at both Dillons and Walmart in Lawrence, KS, where she built lasting relationships with colleagues and customers alike. Sandra’s work ethic and genuine care for others made her a valued team member and a cherished part of the Lawrence community.

Beyond her professional life, Sandra thrived when she was active and engaged in sports. Softball, basketball, and football were not just pastimes for her; they were avenues through which she connected with people, built friendships, and exemplified teamwork. Sandra’s love for sports was paralleled only by her love for her family and friends.

Sandra’s absence will be deeply felt by her family, including her parents, Michael and Antonette; her sisters, Amy and Mikayla; her brother-in-law, Norman; her niece, AJ; and her grandparents, Mary and Bob. Her spirit will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to have known her, and her memory will be treasured as a source of joy and comfort.
