Randy Pile, 64, of Topeka, Kansas, passed away on June 17, 2025, surrounded by his loved ones. Born on August 4, 1960, in Kansas City, Kansas, Randy lived a life defined by hard work, quiet strength, and deep love for his family.
He is survived by his loving wife and partner-in-everything, Eva Pile; his daughters, Jennifer Dean (Eric) and Jessica Pile; his bonus kids, Tyler Pennington (Joanna) and Nick Fernandez (Midori); and his pride and joy – his grand kids: Austin, Alyssa, Grant, Clair, Carter, Brooklyn, Gabby, Delanie, and Jacob. He is also survived by his brother, Rusty Pile.
Randy was greeted on the other side by his parents, Betty and Russell, and his sisters Sheila and Sandy—probably with a Diet Dr. Pepper and a list of things to fix.
Randy lived a life full of sawdust, socket wrenches, and sarcastic one-liners—and he wouldn’t have had it any other way. As an Auto Parts Manager, Randy was not only respected in his profession but also cherished by his community as the go-to handyman. Whether fixing the family’s car, building custom furniture, or lending a helping hand, Randy’s generosity and craftsmanship left a lasting mark. He loved his dogs like family, had a soft spot for classic cars, and was the kind of guy who’d give you the shirt off his back—then ask if you needed a toolbox to go with it.
More than anything, Randy was a good man. He was generous with his time, steady in his love, and endlessly dependable. If something needed doing, he’d do it—no fuss, no spotlight, just the kind of quiet strength the world could use more of.
He will be deeply missed, fondly remembered, and frequently quoted.
