Jeffrie Allen Dilliehunt, known as Jeff, of Topeka, Ks, passed away on May 16th, 2025, at the age of 73. Jeff was born on May 14, 1952, to the late Charles Lee Dilliehunt and Ida Belle Black.
He attended Topeka High School, graduating in 1970, and was a lifelong Topeka resident. He worked at various places, including Topeka State Hospital, Standard Liquor as a truck driver, then at Adams Business Forms for 15 years. He later retired at Stormont Vail Hospital at the age of 63.
Jeff was a cherished husband, father, and friend, who left an incredible mark on the hearts of those he touched. Even after his passing, his admirable organ donation was successfully carried out to multiple recipients in need. The family finds joy in knowing that Jeff will continue to live on in so many meaningful ways.
Jeff married Deborah (Deb) Dilliehunt on May 1, 1999. They recently celebrated their 26-year anniversary.
Jeff lived his life to the fullest, marked by the simple pleasures of riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, fishing, watching his favorite teams- the Kansas City Chiefs and KU Basketball – and enjoyed spending time with his family. As Jeff would say, “Family Over Everything” -#FOE. He will be remembered for his orneriness, sense of humor, and kind personality.
Jeff was preceded in death by his father Charles Lee Dilliehunt, mother Ida Belle Black, brother Charles Dilliehunt Sr, sister Barbara Ann Barber, and son Troy Lewayne Crith.
He is survived by his wife Deb Dilliehunt; son Mario Baylor (Lisa), daughter Whitne Forges (Denita), daughter Michaela McGinnis, daughter Simone Patterson and youngest son Quentin Dilliehunt; 15 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
