Doniko Goulsby

Doniko Lee Goulsby was born in Topeka, Kansas at Stormont-Vail to Stephanie Goodwin and Diago Goulsby on July 11th, 2001 at 6:40 pm weighing in at 9lbs and 12 ounces. Doniko goes by “Niko” and incorporated his nickname “Fatty” because he loves eating! Niko was called home to the Lord on May 5, 2025, due to complications from a nut allergy. Niko graduated from Northeast High School in Clarksville, TN, in 2019. He then went to college at Neosho Community College. In school, he met the love of his life, ShaTia Roberts. Niko has always been an exceptional son. He was raised in the church and is a devoted man of God. Niko has the kindest and sweetest soul. He embodies the saying “He’d give you the shirt off his back,” and lives his life with that level of selfless care. Niko can walk into a room and light it up with his smile. His energy was generated through the people he was in contact with. Niko loved to help others. As his friends would say, he was always there for me when I needed a friend. From a young age, Niko excelled as an athlete in football, wrestling, and track. He was involved in JROTC since middle school and continued throughout his high school years. He’s a passionate fan of the KC Chiefs and also finds joy in his exotic fish, fishing, animals, and nurturing life through planting and gardening. His greatest blessings are his loving fiancée and their two beautiful children – a son and a daughter who are his spitting image and adore their daddy. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Gloria Goulsby, and his two grandfathers, Donald Grier and Robert Goulsby. He is survived by his parents, Stephanie Goodwin (Mother) Topeka, KS, Diago (Father) and LaTisha Goulsby (Momma), Jacksonville, FL, his two sisters, Dajanae Goulsby, Topeka, KS, and MarKeisha Benson, Jacksonville, FL. He also leaves to cherish his children, Halowe Goulsby and Daxten Goulsby, Topeka, KS, and his loving fiancée, ShaTia Roberts, Topeka, KS. He also leaves his Grandma, Uncles, Aunts, Cousins, and an abundance of friends!
