The Shawnee County Commissioners recently gave the green light to the project, authorizing funds from the 2025 capital budget for the upgrades. The approval covers the cost of two state-of-the-art basketball goals, which will be installed in Landon Arena, as well as a portion of the modular flooring project.
The modular flooring is a game-changer, offering a level of flexibility that will allow the events center to host up to 13 youth basketball courts in the Exhibition Hall.
