Kerry Lee Miller

Kerry Lee Miller, 71, of Topeka, Kansas passed away on January 21, 2025, in the comfort of his own home.

Kerry was born January 12, 1954, to Irene (Fields) and James Miller (deceased). He leaves behind two brothers, Ronald (spouse Debbie) Miller of Lawrence and Scott (spouse Carla) of El Dorado, nephew Eric Miller of El Dorado and niece Micayla Miller (South Korea). He also leaves behind his wonderful companion Chihuahua, Lola.

He graduated from Topeka Highland Park High School in 1972, where he was involved with school musicals, and was the Drum Major for the high school band. After high school, Kerry worked for Team Electronics in Manhattan, KS where he met a new group of lifelong friends. Kerry later took a job with TWA Airlines as a flight attendant based in New York City. Next, Kerry moved to San Diego and began a career as a Motivational Speaker for Tony Robbins, the world famous “fire walking” motivational speaker. Kerry first started making presentations in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and later moved to Honolulu, Hawaii and continued his career with Tony Robbins. Kerry moved back to Kansas to be near his family and friends and soon became a Certified Recovery Specialist for Valeo Health Care.

Kerry’s lifelong passion of Harley-Davidson Motorcycles truly began in 1975 when he purchased his first Sportster. Kerry began selling motorcycles at Historic Harley-Davidson of Topeka, KS when he went in for a new motorcycle and came out with a new career. Over time, Kerry transitioned to the Evel Knievel Museum in Topeka, which became a new passion. Kerry loved meeting people from all over the world who came to visit the Museum. He made hundreds of new friends while working for Historic Harley-Davidson and the Evel Knievel Museum. Kerry officially retired when the Evel Knievel Museum shut its doors for the last time in November of 2024.

Kerry was a true inspiration to those who knew and loved him. His positivity and strength to keep fighting his battle with Stage 4 lung cancer was unmatched. Kerry will be greatly missed by everyone he crossed paths with. Services are TBD at a later date.
