TOPEKA, KS — May 29, 2025 — In a significant development in the ongoing search for Kaden Zubler, the missing 23-year-old from Topeka, newly obtained video footage has confirmed a sighting of him hours after he was last seen on May 15.

The video, discovered by Kaden’s mother during her independent canvassing efforts, shows Kaden walking northbound on Topeka Boulevard just past NW Morse Street at approximately 8:10 PM—about 4.4 miles from where he was initially seen that evening. The family says this is the clearest and most recent footage of him since his disappearance and is “undoubtedly” him.

The video has been shared with Topeka Police and other law enforcement agencies.

Kaden was last seen wearing a plain red shirt, jeans, red Under Armour shoes, and eyeglasses. He is known to respond to the nickname “Zube” (pronounced “Zoob”) and is described as independent—he may decline offers of help.

The family emphasized that Kaden has no known mental health issues, no history of drug use or violence, and has never expressed any thoughts of self-harm.

“This new footage confirms what we’ve known all along—he was still out there that night,” a family spokesperson said. “We are urging the community to please check any security or dash cam footage from the evening of May 15, especially near NW Morse Street and Topeka Boulevard.”

A $5,000 cash reward is now being offered for information that leads to Kaden’s safe return.

Anyone with footage or information is urged to contact law enforcement immediately. Tips can also be shared directly with the family through their Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/share/1RRBbZgQMy/?mibextid=wwXIfr
