TOPEKA, KS – The latest booking report from the Shawnee County Adult Detention Center shows a variety of arrests over the past 24 hours, ranging from DUI charges to violent offenses. Here are some of the most notable bookings:

Weapons & Violent Offenses

  • Larry John Smutny (73) – Booked for criminal possession of a weapon by a convicted felon. No bond set.
  • Kyton Jordan Jansen (26) – Arrested for aggravated battery (use of a weapon causing great bodily harm or death) and criminal possession of a weapon by a felon. No bond set.
  • Javier Antonio Bolanos-Rivera (35) – Charged with criminal threat (causing terror, evacuation, or disruption). No bond set.
  • Winston Earl Brown Jr. (69) – Facing aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and aggravated battery (recklessly causing great bodily harm or disfigurement). No bond set.
  • Luis Angel Rivera (45) – Arrested for aggravated assault (deadly weapon), aggravated battery (causing great bodily harm or disfigurement), and interference with law enforcement (fleeing on foot in a felony case). Bond set at $10,000 per charge.
