Recent Shawnee County Arrests Include Serious Felony Charges

Shawnee County law enforcement booked 19 individuals into the Adult Detention Center on March 11, 2025, with charges ranging from minor traffic violations to serious felonies. Among the most severe cases:

  • Jeremy Samuel Veal Jr. (19 years old) faces multiple felony charges, including aggravated burglary, aggravated robbery, aggravated assault, and aggravated battery. His total bond is set at an astonishing $750,000 for each charge, indicating the severity of the alleged offenses.
  • Adrian Deshon Gunby (31 years old) was booked for aggravated battery causing great bodily harm, assault, and battery on a law enforcement officer, along with interfering with law enforcement. He is currently held without bond.
  • Lynn Ann Eldridge-Parker (47 years old) is facing a list of charges, including possession of narcotics, drug paraphernalia, theft, multiple traffic violations, DUI, and driving as a habitual violator. She also has outstanding bench warrants totaling $8,435.
  • David Alan Lane (60 years old) is held without bond as a fugitive from another state, facing extradition to New Mexico.
  • August Wellington Jackson IV (33 years old) was booked for a parole violation hold by the Kansas Department of Corrections.

Other arrests included various drug possession charges, interference with law enforcement, and multiple counts of driving with a suspended license.

These arrests highlight the ongoing work of Shawnee County law enforcement in handling serious criminal cases. Court dates for many of these individuals are set in the coming weeks, where further legal proceedings will determine their fate.
