By 4:45 PM, the Evergy Plaza Carolers will set the mood with delightful holiday songs, followed by the Mayor’s Tree Lighting at 5:30 PM—a must-see moment that signals the true start of the holiday season. As the evening progresses, the parade begins at 6:00 PM, starting at 10th and Kansas Avenue and making its way north. Expect a dazzling display of floats, marching bands, and, of course, Santa Claus himself!
Stick around for the finale at 8:00 PM when you can snap memorable photos with Santa, Mrs. Claus, and their reindeer. This family favorite activity will be located at Evergy Plaza, where the fun continues until the night wraps up.
